Mikogo screen sharing

What is Mikogo? It’s a Free (no strings attached) screen sharing web application. Great for business use and saves thousands of dollars on business trips across the country.

Most WebEx users and old school business execs would tell you if its free the quality isn’t there, but Mikogo is here to prove those people wrong. I love how easy it is to use and even if you are literally half across the globe the frame rates are quite good. It’s way more than what you would expect from a free screen sharing program. It doesn’t have all the features of a WebEx but here are a few that may entice you to try it out:

• Fast and easy to download, set-up, and get started
• Remote Control allows you to enable anyone in the meeting to take over your screen
• Switching presenters on the go is great for multiple people presenting that are in different locations
• Doesn’t take up a crazy amount of resources on your machine
• You can record the meeting
• It’s FREE! - I wouldn’t say it was free if there were any strings attached at all

As you can see there’s a lot of positives to this new power house in the screen sharing market. The only downside with Mikogo is that on some machines Mikogo may not connect the meeting and you will have to end the meeting and try again. I’ve never seen it not work twice in a row. I’ve personally never experienced this but I have seen a user experience this a few times.
